The gift was for my wife who works as an historical interpreter at Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC. And she absolutely loves this historical stuff, so she was more than overjoyed at receiving this cup for Yule as one of her gifts.

This mug helps set me apart from the rest of the crew I work with who tend to rely on cheaper tin cups. I looks and feels great while also being a perfect fit for the period I portray. One word of advice though: if you use it in FL like I do the extreme heat and humidity leads to lots of droplets around the unglazed base.
