The 16 oz jack is the smaller of the two leather mugs we produce, holding a true pint. Our leather drinking vessels are lined with a black brewers pitch that will safely hold your cold beverages. Made in-house, each piece has a character all its own.
Leather drinking vessels have been around since about 1030 AD and spanned through the 18th century, with some styles even extending into the early 19th century. Some common names for these include tavern jack, leather jack, and pint jack.
